Why Wings For Families Was Created
Wings For Families Foundation was founded by Dunia Ferra, a mother and community advocate who understands firsthand the challenges many immigrant families face.
After experiencing difficult moments in her own life and witnessing the struggles of mothers trying to provide stability and hope for their children, she felt inspired to create an organization dedicated to helping families in need.
What began with a simple desire to serve others has grown into a mission focused on providing support, encouragement, and practical resources to immigrant mothers and families working toward a better future.
Through the generosity of donors and community partners, Wings For Families Foundation is committed to providing food assistance, clothing, essential resources, emotional support, and empowerment opportunities that strengthen families.
Dunia believes that every family deserves hope, dignity, and the opportunity to succeed. Her vision is to create a community where no mother feels alone and every child has the chance to thrive.
